| Certified Inspection Review Request Process If an inspection by a NWFA Certified Inspector is disputed by any involved party (ies), any party(ies) can contact the NWFA Certified Professionals, Inc. requesting review of the submitted inspection. The filing for review process is: Party requesting review contacts NWFA Certified Professionals, Inc. in writing, requesting formal review of submitted inspection. The written request must include payment of the review fee, a copy of the submitted inspection with all supporting data. In addition, a copy of the letter requesting review and all supporting data must be sent to the NWFA Certified Inspector involved. The request received at NWFA Certified Professionals, Inc. offices will be forwarded to the Review Secretary who will: · Appoint a review team to review the documentation. The review team will consist of experts in the fields necessary for proper review of the specific area of product performance that warranted the inspection.· The review team’s opinion will be submitted to the Review Secretary ONLY. No comments or copies of any activities regarding the review team’s performance or opinions are to be discussed or disclosed to anyone but the Review Secretary.The Review Secretary will formally advise all involved parties of the findings/decision of the review team. In cases where the findings/decision of the review team is accepted with no further action, the case will be filed as “closed”. In cases where the findings/decision of the review team is further disputed, the filing parties has the option to request the Review Secretary send a non-biased NWFA Certified Inspector to inspect the complaint anew and have the results sent to the initial review team for analysis and opinion. All costs for the re-inspection, plus an inspection processing fee, will be the responsibility of the filing party. All decisions of the second inspection will be final with no further appeal alternatives through the NWFA Certified Professionals, Inc.
